Colors vibrate at different frequencies that relate to the different emotional and spiritual needs of human beings. Water absorbs these light frequencies, stores them, and transmits them into, over and through our energy fields as we bathe. This is no different than water assuming and taking on the shape and the vibrations of our words.
For a healing bath using colors, you'll need bottles or glasses of various colors. Red glass increases energy, passion, leadership and vitality. Lavender helps with anxiety and stress, calms the nervous system thereby boosting the immune system. Blue glass is calming and relaxing, good for those who need to slow down or adjust after a time of overly vigorous activity. It soothes the intellectual mind as well. Yellow glass stimulates your will power and gives you courage to you shake off procrastination and perceived fear. Green can be healing and energizing for the heart. Wine bottles work well. You can use a drinking glass or quart jar or a bottle as large as a gallon. Glass bottle come in various shapes and sizes. Don't throw away the next one that comes with something else. You could preserve, clean and reuse it.
Pour spring, distilled or alkaline water into the colored container of your choice. While filling the container, contemplate your intention for this ritual. A prayer will do nicely too. Dance around it and/or add gemstones such as crystals for energy enhancement and crystallization.
Place color glass in the sun for three to eight hours. The longer the better. Drink eight ounces and, if you used a large container, pour the remaining charged water over your body. Alternatively, you can drink some and store the rest to take in eight ounce doses each day.
