My Creative Raw Food Detox Day 2

I decided to begin the 2011 calendar year with a Creative Raw Food Liquid Detox Program. Today is Day 2 of my detox program and the focus and emphasis is on my core, my abdominal region, my belly, my womb. The cleansing begins at my core and expands outward and throughout the rest of my body and my life. I am, therefore, also cleansing my blood, my internal organs and my head. Starting from the womb center and moving on out is the motion in which my detox moves. As Dr. Arvigo says, when a woman's pelvic region (reproductive system) is balanced then all other systems will be balanced. I call it creative because I am designing each day in an intuitive way and with the guidance and wisdom of my body and my spirit guides.

The year 2010 was such an intense one for me. It was one of the most stressful years of my life when it came to relationships. So much happened over the course of 12 months. Now, the wisdom of my body calls for renewal and replenishment. It is asking me to release the old and restore harmony to my inner and outer world. I set out on this journey to let go of the old, balance and fortify my uterus, and to receive the wisdom and tools of my own journey so that I can share and offer it to others. I am clearing for the abundance that 2011 will bring. I am making way for the new!!

I will be integrating a few modalities and healing activities to my detox repertoire and sharing the journey with you through my blog. You are welcome to join in or to ask any questions or offer suggestions.

Day 1

- Awakened a few minutes before sunrise for my usual sunrise Agnihotra - Homa Therapy @ 7:31am. (This is a vedic fire meditation that heals both self, environment and the earth.)

- 45 minutes of Yoga - including stretching, breath work, yoga postures and womb reflexology.

- 2 table spoons of psyllium and 1 table spoon of organic ground flax seeds followed by 3 glasses of room temperature distilled waterr.

- Juiced two pineapples - equivalent to roughly 12 ounces.
Drank one and saved one for day 2

- 1 vanilla soy yogurt

- fresh squeezed orange juice

- 4 cups of Tea - morning, afternoon and before bed
- peach detox - twice
- smooth move
- ginger crystals

- Plenty of water during the day - with liquid mint flavored chlorophyll added to it

- Sunset Agnihotra @ 4:53pm EST

- A dry brush cleanse during my evening bath time
Dry brushing is a way to stimulate all the organs of detoxification while it provides a gentle internal massage.

On Day 1, I cleaned out the house and my friend did a few minor repairs and adjustments as well. I washed the floors and cleaned around my altar. In the afternoon, I encountered an unusual headache in my third eye and forehead area. I do not do headaches. So one like this was a strong call from my body. I rinsed out my nasal passages with a light treatment, applied my hot water bottle to my temples and forehead, massage my head and drank plenty of water. The headache subsided very soon after. I am usually very big on drinking of water so I am taking in even more. I bought 2 cases of distilled water to start off.

During the day hours, I was able to accomplish a great deal more than I've been able to do in a days time. I put in motion that which I am focusing on during this new moon and that is the development of conscious and intentional relationships as well as mutually rewarding partnerships; and to develop my business/marketing plan for 2011. I made great strides by connecting with old friends and developing new professional relationships and I acquired valuable information while doing research around my work.

DAY 2

- 2 heaping tbsp of psyllium & 1 heaping tbsp of organic ground flax seeds
followed by 3 glasses of distilled water mixed with chlorophyll

- Agnihotra at Sunrise

- Womb Dance

- Womb Massage & Reflexology

- Fresh Squeezed pineapple juice

During the course of Day 2, I had a couple of breakthroughs which brought greater clarity around the workings and wisdom of my body.

"The female pelvis is a powerhouse of energy transformation -- the very throne of creation through which universal creative patterns course and flow. This depends on balance within the system. "
- Dr. Rosita Arvigo, DN

Enjoy reading your journey. Quick question, when you take the physillium husk and flax seeds to you mix it with liquid? in a smoothie? or just straight up followed by the water?
